Power Auditor

SyAM's 3 step process allows IT organizations to add to the bottom line through energy savings and to help the environment by reducing the organizations carbon foot print.

Step 1 starts with a Power Audit, this captures the baseline of powered on hours for systems across the network. By knowing how many hours systems are on and comparing to expectation you can identify where savings can be achieved. Systems can be discovered through Windows Active Directory Organization units or through IP ranges

Step 2 continues with the deployment and configuration of the power client, a simple task within the power auditor requiring minimal work from IT.  The software is deployed silently without disrupting the user and without reboots. The power schedules are configured to systems based on your requirements, these could be departmental, location or function.

Step 3 now reports on achieved savings, by know where the savings are coming from and comparing to projected savings,  IT can modify any power schedules as required to maximize savings.
